Aeration – is a simple and effective process for increasing the oxygen level in a pond, which significantly improves the natural processes below the surface of the water and the aesthetic beauty of the pond.

Oxygen is very important for the health of the pond. It is needed by the main inhabitants of the pond – fish. Bacteria and unwanted algae do not thrive in oxygenated water. 

A sufficient amount of oxygen in the water brings the balance to the ecosystem of the pond and helps to maintain it.

Destruction of blue-green algae (cyanobacteria)

Additional oxygen accelerates the oxidation and decomposition of blue-green algae, and also reduces the amount of nutrients available for their vital activity.
